Easter is just around the corner, and, soon, baskets will be filled with chocolate Easter eggs proudly found in Easter egg hunts, and hot cross buns will be enjoyed in abundance. Like many annual events, especially those with significant beginnings, it’s important to mark the occasion in the classroom. At Brainwaves, we have a lovely range of Easter inspired rewards and stationery to help celebrate and educate pupils about this sacred occasion.
Happy Easter!

Easter is a time where flowers start to blossom and animals are born. (Most symbolically chicks begin to hatch!). Our delightful packs of colourful ‘Happy Easter’ stickers are a great way to celebrate the Easter season while rewarding your pupils for good behaviour. You can gift these to your pupils to wish them all a happy Easter, or you can use them in the weeks surrounding Easter to reward good behaviour. With 180 stickers per pack and 12 cheerful designs, your classroom is guaranteed to be full of Easter spirit!
Egg Olympics

True to Easter fashion, why not host a special ‘egg Olympics’, delivering a range of action-packed activities and competitions for your pupils. This can be anything from an egg and spoon race and throwing an egg as far as you can, to an egg decorating competition and making as many words as you can out of ‘Egg Olympics’. This is an effective way to get pupils engaged in teamwork in a creative and active way. We have a wonderful range of sports awards, including medals, trophies and certificates, whether these are to mark 1st, 2nd and 3rd places or praise for simply taking part.
Eggcellent science

Believe it or not, with Easter comes an opportunity for some science! A fun science-based activity is to dye hard-boiled eggs using oil and vinegar to create some galaxy theme patterns, showing pupils what the different materials can create when mixed together. Another simple and fun activity is to test eggshell strength through educational experiments. Placing bottle caps on each end of the eggs, you can then balance objects on top, this is a great experiment to see exactly how much weight eggs can take before the shell breaks.

Annual holiday themes are a great and effective way to repeat lessons but in a different and fun way, allowing the pupils to remember and learn a bit more every time. We have an engaging range of science rewards, including stickers, badges and certificates featuring wacky space creature designs.
